Today when we were walking down the High Street in Windsor, there was the cutest little toddler bench outsie Robert Dyas. Tyler stopped and had a little sit – I had to take a photo!
It’s so so cute, and at £23.99, I’m umming and ahhing on whether to buy it for my parent’s garden. But I think if he was age 1, it would be worth it, but at age 3, he’d be too big for it pretty soon. Anyway, it got me thinking about my parents’ garden, as my boy spends a lot of time there in the week. I want to add a bit of a tropical look to the garden with accessories (the parents have got the plants and flowers sorted). So I’ve pulled together this moodboard just to get some ideas.
I just love the idea of bringing Hawaii to our garden at home. Pops of bright colours and exotic birds and fruits – that’s what reminds of a tropical summer. Actually, I’ve already ordered the inflatable flamingo drinks holders off ebay, hee hee!

I love the idea of a tropical themed garden – especially for a toddler to play in. That bean bag chair looks really cozy. I’d love a couple of them for my decking area.
That little toddler bench is very cute and a bargain too – it’s a shame Tyler will be too big for it.

Hee hee, I can’t wait to do the makeover, well my mum says she can’t wait! Be so nice to chill out in the garden. Yes the bench looks so so cute, but I’ve got my sensible hat on – I know it will probably just sit in the garden unused! xx

I’d say you are right about him growing out of the bench, although it is a very cute photo. I really like the drinks bucket and the pineapple plate you’ve chosen.

Yes I’ve go my logical hat on – it is so so cute, but I know he wouldn’t sit on it if we bought it – this boy loved to run around! I think pineapples are the next quirky thing on trend this year – let’s see if I’m right! xx

We bought the bench (also from Robert Dyas in Windsor) and to be honest we’ve hardly used it! The boy is too active to be sitting on benches.

Aw the bench is soooooo cute, I’m still so tempted! But yes boys are far too active, they never sit still! Maybe you could put some teddy bears on it! xx
