Yesterday I wrote a post about Topshop Maternity dresses and I got a comment from a blogger who said that she remembers seeing the maternity and baby range when she was at college and noting it for the future.
In my twenties I spent practically all my spare time in that flagshop Topshop store in Oxford Street – it was heaven! I remember seeing them trial a mummy and baby range – there was a gorgeous red wool coat for mummy and an exact matching one for baby girl. I remember thinking I would definitely buy these when I have a daughter (yes I thought WHEN!).
I had totally forgotten about this memory until I read that comment from Harriet at Toby and Roo – so thanks Harriet!! I had a little google as I haven’t seen baby clothes in Topshop for ages. Obiviously I’m not expecting to see the matching red coats as that was years ago. BUT, I can’t believe it, Topshop are launching their first childrenswear range THIS summer – can you believe it?! Just my luck, exactly when my baby girl will be born. It must be destiny!
It was announced on Harpers Bazaar that Topshop are launching their first childrenswear range called Topshop Mini from 30th June 2016. “Offering three distinct trends, the line will cater for girls from newborn to 18 months old and features adorable Hawaiian, striped and bunny prints on a range of dresses, tops and rompers.”
Exciting! I had to share with you my favourites that I’ve picked from the collection:
Honey Nut is getting that Rabbit Quilt Jumper – I love bunnies! I guess these will be suitable for after she is 3 months and is easier to dress. I still stand by my earlier statement that she’ll be living in babygros for the first months of her life!
So there you have it, are you as excited as me? I know they are pricey, but it’s TOPSHOP!

I love Topshop but was very disappointed by their maternity range when I popped in this week. If I have a baby girl I’ll definitely be checking out their mini range!

Yes I agree, it’s very hit and miss with their maternity range, sometimes they’ll have something, other times nothing! But the mini range does look good! Xx

Aw how adorable! I remember seeing a few token bits and bobs in the Topshop on Oxford Street when I was pregnant with Little I, but nothing ever since! Glad to see they’re doing some proper little ranges. Hope they start the twinning styles again!
