I got this new ‘Beach’ hoodie for Tyler spontaneously 2 weeks ago, as I got an George @ Asda email saying they were doing £5 introductory offers on kids clothing. I quickly had a look and spotted this hoodie!
Hoodie – Asda, £5 | Joggers – Tesco, £3 | Shoes – Next, £12
It’s normally £9 for age 4-5, so I nabbed it for £5 that day by ordering online. I must admit, I don’t find the shopping experience in Asda very pleasant, so to avoid going into a store, I got it delivered to the Asda petrol station in Northolt, which is on my way home from work! If you have an Asda petrol station near you, I totally recommend the click and collect there, it’s so quick and easy. The package was there the day after I ordered and I got a text to say when it was ready to collect.
As you can see, it’s perfect for Tyler as he currently has an obsession with having his hood up ALL the time! He loves the campervan print, as he is obsessed with vehicles, and I love that it says ‘Let’s go to the beach’ – oh yes please 🙂
It’s not too heavy, very light and comfortable for Tyler to wear, and fleecy and soft on the inside. I got age 4-5 so Tyler can grow into it. It’s perfect for spring weather to wear instead of a jacket.
I was very lucky to get it for £5, but it’s still available at full price now (£8 – £9, depending on the size you order). Stocks are low online, and we saw loads on the shelf when we went instore this weekend, and there was also a tractor print.
I do love getting a bargain, and I found out about the £5 deal because I’m subscribed to the Asda newsletter. Usually I find these emails annoying, but I’m glad I opened that email that day!

Asda always has brilliantly priced items. A great idea to subscribe to the emails too to find out the best offers before they are gone.

Oh I like that! He looks great! George clothes are fab aren’t they? Especially for the essentials (although I do find them a tad gender stereotypical – especially for the girls) xx

Ah good ole reliable Asda! As a farm girl, the tractor would be much more appropriate for my nephews xx

Hehe, I’ve never met a farm girl 😉 My boy gets so excited when he sees tractors driving down the road. Which happens surprisingly quite often in Slough! xx

Love the hoody! Asda do some great bits for little boys, I generally don’t leave without buying at least one thing for Elliot when we pop in! Elliot is in 4-5 tops now too….sigh, where did our babies go!? #weekendtotstyle

He looks very comfy in his new hoody. I used to get loads of clothes from Asda but the selection in our local store is a bit uninspiring at the moment – maybe I should have a look online too. #FunkyKidFriday
