I’m a bit late writing this – how has a week of March nearly passed already?! Here is my round-up of things to do around Slough this March:
1)Pop- Up Planetartium – Sat 11th March – The Curve
Travel through space with Kinetic Adventure, several sessions throughout the day.
Tickets £6-£8 or £24 for a family ticket – book here
2) Legoland opens Friday 10th March! This is what Tyler has been waiting for! We have Kelloggs 2 for 1 tokens from the side of cereal packets. You can get the 702 bus from Slough straight there.
3) Go to an Empire Juniors screening at the cinema (just outside the Queensmere shopping centre) – tickets are only £1.50 each! They are showing on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am:
March 11/12 : Moana and Storks
March 18/19 : Storks and Secret Life of Pets
March 25/26 : Secret Life of Pets and 3D Monster Trucks
4) New Baby Group – if you have a baby 6 months or under, there is a new group at The Curve on Wednesdays at 1pm, starting on Weds 15th March in the children’s library.
For the rest of us with pre-school age children, there is still the very popular Rhymetimes 3 times a week (Mon 10.30am, Weds 10.30am and Fri 2pm) – Lily LOVE these sessions!
5) If have a child 5 years and over, why not try out a FREE Karate Class with GKR Karate at the QueensmereObservatory on Friday 24th March
So there are 5 things. I would say go for a picnic in Herchel Park, but with this weather, I don’t hold my hopes up!
If you are interested in more local activities in Slough, I can recommend you follow Slough Lyfe on Facebook – it’s really good 😀
Let me know if you know of any other things to do with the kids this month in the area.
