I wanted to turn this into a ‘magic’ photo with sparkles and mystery - but actually it is naturally magical. The kids love this tree, always running to hide under it. And now that it is blossoming with little white flowers, it’s so pretty! The only other place I’ve seen a tree like this is in Hawaii, and to find our very own one in, erm, Slough, well it’s quite ironic! Have you seen a tree like this before, with the hanging branches?

Toddlers go through phases, and Lily is at that “Mummy is all mine” phase. She’s gone off playgroups, she doesn’t like me talking to other mummies, no one else can hang out with us (except Tyler of course) - she wants no one else in our little bubble or else there will be meltdowns. And you know what, I’m going with it. She was an absolutely adorable tea shop companion this morning, and when we wandered around the cobbled alleys of Windsor, popping into cute little shops. If she needs my attention at this moment in time, I’ll give it to her. I know this anti-social thing is just a phase, and then she’ll be back to hanging out with her little friends again. Have you gone through the clingy stage with your little one?

I think we need to rename #whatmamaworemonday to #sillyposemonday 😆 Lily cried, she didn’t want to go to playgroup today. So we had a morning of mooching around the shops and then playing at home. I don’t know why she’s stopped liking playgroup, but I won’t force her to go. To be honest, the day seems longer when we don’t go, more time to chill out so I don’t mind. Today I’m wearing a @primark top that I had never worn before, even though I bought it 3 years ago! So it’s a new old top. And Lily is being Princess Poppy of course. Have you got any clothes you have forgotten about? Go on, have a look in your wardrobe, you never know! @heyitsromeca @stylemotherbeat

I can’t believe it’s Monday again, and yet I’m grateful to be able to see another Monday. What happened in New Zealand just before the weekend is truly frightening and awful. Those innocent people would have been able to live their lives and enjoy the little things, like pink trees last week, and now that’s been taken away from them by one psycho. And how many other psychos are out there. The world can be horrible, but let’s spread some love and smile at each other today.

I have ALWAYS wanted to have a photo with the beautiful hanging bus blinds at the @ltmuseum - and yesterday on our impromptu mummy and son trip into London, we didn’t go to any flower cafes, but this was way better! There were actually people queuing to get a photo with the flower benches in Covent Garden - YES REALLY!! This has made me even more determined to find the pretty photo spots OUTSIDE of London. Who wants to be like everyone else?! Not me. Now tell me, have you been to any of the destinations on the bus blinds in this photo? I can spot a few :)
