22 Family-Friendly Things To Do in February 2026 – Berkshire

Hurray February is finally here – didn’t January feel like the longest month EVER?! Feb is lots of fun because there’s Pancake Day, Valentine’s Day, the Lunar New Year and of course half term. Here are 22 things that you can do around Slough, Windsor and the surrounding areas.

1) Enjoy a Snowdrop Walk and spot the first signs of spring at Cliveden, daily until mid-February.

2) See live music for free at Broad Street Beats, Saturday 7th Feb at Broad Street Mall – look out for free muffin samples from Muffin Break

3) Join the Reading Lantern Glow Parade on Saturday 14th February at 5.30pm from Broad Street Mall to Town Hall Square for a musical finale.
PS you can also make lanterns for the parade – join a free session at Jelly Reading this weekend or 7/8 Feb.

4) Free Flower Bouquet Kids Crafting on Saturday 7th February at Observatory, Slough (11am – 4pm)

5) More crafting fun at Craft Coop Windsor. It’s £5 on Saturday mornings 7th/14th/21st/28th Feb – booking required

6) Feeling arty? Head to IKEA Reading for the free Valentines Family Sip and Paint on Wednesday 11th February 4.30-6pm. Book a slot

7) Got little ones who like bouncing? There’s a Mega Inflatables Fun Day at Bracknell Leisure Centre on Saturday 14th February – book tickets

8) One for movie and transport fans, iconic cars from the movies are arriving in Bracknell. Check them out at The Lexicon between 14th to 22nd February. Don’t miss the trail for a chance to win prizes.

9) Get crafty at the Antz Kids Half Term family camp, 16th – 20th Feb at Slough Museum. Make 3D fabric hearts, valentines crafts, slime, stained glass windows and make your own sock gnome https://antzkidz.co.uk/

10) Free kids workshops at the Eton Natural History Museum – Sunday 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd Feb 2.30pm-5pm

13) Lots of Half Term family activities at Reading Museum, including a dungeons and dragons trail (£1.50), an art extravanganza (free) PLUS a make your own Dragon Bread workshop (£5).

15) Does your little one love trains? Take them to Bekonscot Model Village – it reopens from Sat 14th Feb. Plus on Monday 16th Feb there will be a magic show and workshops at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
