It’s our last siblings project post of 2018 – what?! This year has whizzed by unbelievably fast, I don’t quite feel ready for it to be 2019! Oh well, it is still December as I write this, and this month I have made sure these two siblings have worn their Christmas jumpers at every opportunity possible. These photos are from the past month, in a random order.
Firstly here they are singing at Lily’s playground church Christmas service. I hadn’t been to a church service since I was at school over 20 years ago, so it brought back memories singing those carols. Lily had been practicing ‘Twinkle twinkle’ and ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ at playgroup for the past two month. On the big day she realised that this was what they were practicing for, and with a big smile she sang her heart out!
This photo is from Tyler’s school performance day, after his class did The Nutcracker. Lily wanted to run and sit with Tyler during the performance, so there were a few tears when I held her back.
This is from our meal at Franco Manca in Reading, where we were kindly invited for a meal after watching The Oracle’s first LED Christmas Parade at the riverside.
The pizza got the thumbs up from us all, really tasty. The base is sourdough and I think it’s cooked differently as you get those smokey chargrilled bits. It’s so much nicer than the usual pizzas we eat.
Here are the two outside a lights tree in Reading.
And putting the decs on their grandparents’ tree.
This is from one foggy morning on the school run.
We went on a train adventure to Ealing Broadway a few weeks ago, where we had lunch in Caffe Nero and admired the view. I added some snow in, as it just looks magical.
The tree the siblings have been hiding in for most of the year has now lost its leaves.
And finally I’ll end with this photo of the siblings in front of our town Christmas Tree in Slough.
Now, as we’ve reached the last post of 2018, I HAVE to do a photo montage of the whole year. Here are the siblings over the last 12 months:
What a fun year it’s been. I love how everything feels like an adventure with these two, and how they always have more fun when they are together. Here’s to many more sibling adventures in 2019!
