We had the most amazing stay at this brand sparkling new hotel. The Moxy and The Residence Inn opened in February earlier this year and it is just beautiful.
Just to explain, there are two hotels in the building. The Moxy is on floors 0-4 and that is the Thunderbirds themed one with rooms for up to 3 people. The Residence Inn is on floors 5-9 and those are apartment style, suitable for families.
We stayed in a gorgeous apartment in the Residence Inn. It had a fully working kitchen, there’s even a dishwasher! The living room has a sofa bed which was set up for the kids to sleep in, and there’s a separate bedroom with a super stylish bathroom.
The beds were so comfy, the pillows got our seal of approval, and everything was so new and clean 👍 There are two large TVs, one in each room, with freeview channels and YouTube.
On the ground floor is the Moxy bar where you can have dinner and drinks if you like, and there’s also a gym. And on the top floor is the Residence Inn bar which has “the market” where you can buy food and drinks for your room.
Continental breakfast is included in the stay and served in the Residence Inn bar from 6.30 – 9.30am. It’s so stylish up there, the decor, the chairs, the views, the floor-to-ceiling windows, the outside terrace. There’s also a library room if you want quiet.
This hotel is so perfect if you’re planning a staycation in Windsor, or travelling to Legoland. There is so much you can do in Windsor, which you can see from my previous grid posts. The Moxy/Residence Inn is just around the corner from Slough train station, and Windsor is only 6 minutes away by train.
