I thought I’d share some of Honey Nut’s outfits from this week, and how I’m making her summer dresses suitable for winter. That’s the great thing about dresses, you can put a long-sleeved bodysuit underneath and team it with leggings and socks, and hey presto it’s a winter outfit!
Seaside Outfit
It was a sunny day on Wednesday, even though it was cold, it was still nice to see the sunshine. So I put Honey Nut in her summer dress that has seaside houses on it, with a dribble bib as she’s drooling all the time now at 18 weeks old. I chose seaside-y colours – pastel pink and white with dark blue.

Snuggly and Blue
This outfit she wore on Tuesday. The dress is really soft and snuggly, thicker than summer dresses so very suitable for the cold months. The whole outfit with the bodysuit and leggings are all Next branded, size 3-6 months, but I got them from Choice for £8.50 altogether – bargain!
The dribble bib is one I saved from when Tyler was a baby, as it’s so colourful! I bought it from TK Maxx back in 2012.

Bunny Blue with Pink Jeggings
This outfit she wore on Monday when she turned 18 weeks. It’s Tyler’s Benetton bunny top teamed with her new pink jeggings fron H&M. This top is my husband’s favourite, but I was always reluctant to put it on her as it made her look like a boy. But with the pink jeggings, that problem is solved! The jeggings are really soft and I really love the colour. They are a size 4-6 months and a good fit, not too tight but not loose either.

I am liking the dress with leggings look on Honey Nut. I think this may just be her style, well it is my style too – like mummy, like daughter haha 😀 Tell me it’s not just me, do you dress your kids like yourself?
