What Honey Nut Wore | Mamas and Papas Cardi

One of our gifts from when Honey Nut was born was a Mamas and Papas giftset from one of my husband’s work friends, and there was a £15 giftcard inside! I had so many clothes for her over the summer, that I saved it for something winter-y. I bought this gorgeous white knitted cardi with the giftcard last week.

I’ve been shopping around for a white knitted cardi with a hood, but in most of the stores I looked, they seemed to be really heavy for a baby. I wanted something warm but light, so that it would be comfortable for a baby to wear.

This Mamas and Papas one is perfect. I love the garter stitch and the little pockets on the front. The shade of white is just right too, really clean and bright.

The hood is a good loose fit, and lined with soft white cotton. The 5 buttons are easy to do up too.  I chose age 6-9 months, with Honey Nut being 4 months at the moment, so that she can grow into it. She was happy wearing it, as it’s loose and not heavy.

Cardi: Mamas and Papas £16 | Leggings: H&M £2.99 | Socks: Next £5 (3-pack)

I teamed the cardi with a white bodysuit underneath, and navy and white striped legging for a nautical look. Doesn’t she look cute?!
