We have come to the end of another month! I don’t know about you, but it has flown by for me. I think that having the routine of school runs and toddler groups has definitely made the days pass quicker. September’s family photo comes from our afternoon at the Slough Canal Festival. It was a really grey day, so it’s quite a dark photo, but hey, that’s real life.

So what have we loved this month:

Me: Getting back into a routine – I have actually liked taking Tyler to school and Lily to toddler groups, catching up with the mums. It’s so different when compared to last year, as I know people now – it makes a huge difference! I have also loved meeting bloggers in real life for the first time. First I met up with Becky from The Mummy Adventure at the beginning of the month. It was so lovely meeting with her, that I thought, you know what, I’m going to attend these blogger events that happen throughout the year. So I went to the Next Blogger Event yesterday and got to know a few more bloggers, and it felt great! The other thing I have loved this month is watching the X Factor, as well as sorting out our wardrobes and decluttering so the house is clean and my windows are sparkling (first time since before Lily was born I’d say :D).

The Husband: He has loved the weekends, football (both watching it and playing it!), and the latest TV show he’s been watching is Strike – and I started watching it with him too, it’s alright! He’s loved Lily running to him to give him a hug when he gets home from work, and Tyler singing all the songs from Trolls.

Tyler: Trolls, Trolls, Trolls! Since this movie has been on Sky, he has watched it EVERYDAY! He LOVES it, and sings the songs all the time, in the morning, on the way back from school, before bed. It’s so cute. He’s also loved being back at school and his new classroom (they finished building a whole new extension to his school over the summer, so it’s all brand new and shiny!). He’s loved hanging out with his friends, and keeps saying “I go to the BEST school!” – so safe to say he’s happy there 🙂

Lily: Lily has also loved the Trolls movie this month, we actually watch it while Tyler is at school. Which means I see it at least twice a day 😀 She dances to the songs, stamping her feet, it’s so heart-melting! She has loved sweeping and generally ‘helping’ with the housework, eating our dinner, and drinking out of cups without the lid, like a grown-up. She goes nuts when we open the cupboards, so impatient to eat cereal or biscuits or whatever takes her fancy that day.

And that was September – gone in the blink of an eye!
