Okay I am late pulling this month’s Siblings post together, mainly because I am just not finding time to blog. But I have made myself write this, and it covers 15th May – 14th June 2019, which includes May Half Term.
In mid-May, my brother wanted to take the kids to the cinema, but not on his own! So we all went to see the Paw Patrol movie in Uxbridge Odeon.
We had a Eurovision sleepover party at our flat, and the next day the kids took their aunty and uncle to their playground.
There were plenty of sunny after school afternoons in the park, in the long long grass.
At the start of half term, we checked out the pink cafe, Sel Et Sucre, in Windsor.
There was a local family fun day in Slough’s Herschel Park.
We then hung out in a coffee shop afterwards, laughing over something silly.
On Wednesday in half term, we had a ChilternHundreds bus day for Tyler, riding the 104, 103 and 105.
We hung out in High Wycombe.
Found a pink room.
And got stuck in the rain waiting for our last bus back at Gerrards Cross, but the kids loved it.
We started Tyler’s Instagram page @tubetrainkid – you might recognise their profile picture, which we took in half term.
On the Thursday we started our tube challenge to visit all the London Underground stations, starting with the Bakerloo line. The kids randomly loved Elephant & Castle, as it was filled with London buses.
And elephants.
The end of half term was all about Tyler’s dance show “When I Grow Up” at The Beck Theatre (with his dance school Futunity), which was on two nights. Here he is with Lily on the red carpet on the first night.
And lastly, during the first weekend of June, we revisited Eastcote House Gardens which was looking beautiful.
Looking back, the siblings did loads – I am glad to have written this post now, or else I would forget what we did!
Hope you had a lovely month too and enjoyed May half term (which I know seems like AGES ago now!)
