ᴘʀ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ In the summer holidays, we were kindly invited by Disney Plus UK to attend a #SummerOfDisneyPlus party in London. Of course I said yes!
The reason for throwing the party now, was that Disney Plus launched in the UK when lockdown hit in early 2020 – so all celebration plans were halted. This event was kind of like a belated launch party! The event had guest who were influencers, journalists, actors and actresses, presenters – it was quite glitzy on that sunny summer afternoon in August. The party was held at Pergola in Paddington, close to the canal.
Disney Plus were promoting Luca, Soul, Raya and The Last Dragon and Loki.
We had gelatos🍦at Luca’s Portorosso Piazza, taking photos in the hammock and pretending we were in Italy.
We enjoyed live music 🎶 at the Soul lounge with Deschanel Gordon (winner of young jazz musician of the year 2020) and the London Community Gospel Choir.
We ate delicious food inspired by Raya and The Last Dragon 🐉
They had children’s activities including bowling and playing on this floor piano.
So much fun! It was lovely enjoying the music and activities, and to see fellow influencers with their children having a good time. Such a beautiful location too.
We had already watched all three of those films as soon as they were out on Disney+, Luca most recently. Have you seen them? Which is your fave?
