⭐️ Days Out Money Saving Tips from my TV appearance!⭐️

Earlier this week I was live on South Today with John Cuthill on BBC1 South! It was broadcast from Legoland, and I was there to share my money saving tips for days out this summer. I had prepped a whole load of ideas. Of course I couldn’t fit it all in 3 minutes. So here are my money saving tips – hope they help you this summer!

👉 Take a packed lunch and snacks. Bring water bottles, most places will refill your bottle with tap water.

👉 Look on websites like Groupon or Wowcher for discounts, cinema deals. Kids Pass, Tastecard and Tesco Clubcard vouchers can save money.

👉 Look out for Kids eat free/for £1 offers during school holidays.

👉 Shopping Centres and libraries will have free activities and events – check your local ones for what’s on.

👉 It’s worth investing in an annual pass for theme parks, especially if you live local and know you’ll be making multiple visits in the year.

👉 Don’t forget about free museums too.

👉 Days out don’t have to be extravagant. Have an adventure by visiting a random town by train/bus, discover a new playground. Bring a picnic to make it inexpensive.

👉 Invest in a Family & Friends Railcard to save money on your train tickets.

👉 Weekend early mornings have cheap kids club screenings at most cinemas for £2/3.

👉 Have a budget and stick to it. Map out the whole 6 weeks and fill in the dates with your plans.

👉 Follow local influencers like me, we find the offers and events for you and share to IG stories so you don’t miss anything!
