Drama Classes with an end-of-term show
Perform do classes for age 4-7 and 7-12. My kids are in the age 7-12 class, and each term they work towards an end-of-term show, that is a modern day remix of a traditional tale. So far my two have done Ebenezer (Scrooge), Outlaw (Robin Hood), The Dream (Midsummer’s Night Dream) and Cinderella Rocks (Cinderella).
Last term the kids really enjoyed doing the play Cinderella Rocks. My two were playing the part of a duo (Ant and Dec basically!), and they were hosting a talent show, where Cinderella was the mystery amazing singer!
Have a look at my Instagram reel to see a bit of them in action! Obviously the whole class is involved but I’m not sharing photos of the others for privacy reasons. But the class get along so well, it is a really lovely way for children to make friends outside of school.
At the end of each show, the kids get a ‘Cast Member’ T-shirt.
Classes are not just about the show though, each week they focus on a different skill that helps in everyday life.
New for Spring Term 2024
For Spring Term 2024, the 4-7s are working on Wild West and the 7-12s are working on Killa Queen (a twist on Snow White).
There’s also a February Half Term holiday course.
