Our Tyler has grown so much over the past year, I can’t believe my eyes. A tween! With a funny sense of humour, always laughing. You seek that independence but still love playing games with your sister, you’re a very kind brother and I’m proud of the person you are.

At 12 your favourite colour is blue, you love trying different foods and your fave dish is sushi or mac n cheese – and you still always manage to get food all over yourself, even in your hair!

You have settled in at secondary and I look forward to hearing your stories everyday. You love telling us what you ate for lunch.

You’ve had a growth spurt recently and are in age 13-14 clothes, and size 4 feet. You are taller than your aunty and Nana now!

You LOVE swimming and are in stage 5 💦

You love talking in memes. You love watching those dash cam commentary YouTube videos. You sit in my front seat looking out for bad drivers, especially BMW drivers 😂

I could write so much more, but I just wanted to remember these things as you turn 12. Don’t ever stop being yourself, we love you!
