My Captured Moment – Cutie in Shorts

My Captured Moment is a linky run by Heledd from Running in Lavender, where basically each week you choose a photo where you have captured a moment you treasure – old or new.

This week, the moment I have chosen is from yesterday, when we had that balmy hot weather of 24 degrees in April! I was stuck at work in an office where the air conditioning does not work. Pair that with being crammed on the Central Line on the way home squashed against the door, and then the drive to my mum’s in crazy traffic – as I guess everyone left work on time to catch the sun – I came home a sweaty mess. Ugh!

Meanwhile, I was happy to hear my boy had a lovely day at Nana’s and playing with my sister who has recently quit her job. This was his third outfit of the day as he was splashing about in the garden, getting soaked. My sister chose this outfit – the vest is Carters from TK Maxx and the shorts are F+F from Tesco.

Now this moment was after we finally reached our home at 7.45pm, and then Dada got in. My boy was so excited to see his daddy that he went jumping crazy on the bed. I was trying to take a photo but they were all blurry, so I tried it with the flash. The boy found the flash hilarious, and that’s how I got to capture this happy little face 🙂

I do love seeing how happy he gets when Dada gets home, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Does your little one get all excited when his/her daddy gets home from work?

  1. These is a lovely photograph of a special Captured Moment. He looks so happy and his smile is so cute. If it’s any consolation, we were freezing yesterday up North, it’s been a bit better today though xx
