This week my favourite outfit has been one worn to the seaside during our trip to Southend at the beginning of the week. It didn’t stay dry for long as Tyler just went straight into the mini seapool, fully dressed before I could stop him! This was our first mummy and son mini holiday with an overnight stay just the two of us – an amazing experience. I’ll tell you more about it in a Toddler Trips post next week. Now for the outfit, which you can see here:
Top: BHS – £7
Shorts: Tesco – 2-pack £5
Socks: Tesco – 3-pack – £3
Shoes: Next – £6
This top I had been eying up for ages, and it’s covered in little apples and pears with little masks on – so so cute. The collar gives it a little preppy look, but it’s softer than it looks which is good. When it was on offer in BHS, I couldn’t resist buying it! The shorts are age 12-18 months – I know shocking for a 3 year old – but they fit him perfectly. I think Tesco may have got their sizing a bit wrong, or my boy has a really skinny waist! Oh well, it’s just a label, and better than having shorts that keep falling down. And the boy refused to wear sandals, he threw the mother of all tantrums! He will only wear these shoes from Next, nothing else, they are his favourite shoes. I don’t know what we are going to do when they don’t fit him anymore! Anyhoo, that is our ‘Seaside Style’ outfit of the week. Basically, white tees have been a lifesaver this week with the crazy heatwave. Hope you’ve survived the hot weather too!

A simple but cool outfit. Love the print on the t-shirt. We are hoping to go to southend for a family day out on Sunday. Love it there. #weekendministyle

It’s been so warm this week, white and shorts have been a must. I always forget about BHS but I popped into my local one recently and got some really cute bits in the sale they had. The print on that shirt sounds so cute. #weekendministyle

Oh it has, hasn’t it, I have been melting! I’m the same, BHS is not the first place I think of for kids clothes, but sometime I pop in and find nice things! xx

Loving the preppy look! That shirt is fab. You always find bits with such lovely prints! I never think to go into BHS but I think that’s because we don’t have one near us. There seems to be some lovely childrenswear in there so we’ll definitely have to pop in for a look when we’re near one! Those shorts are such a fab, bright summery colour. I love them. That’s strange about the sizing! Thank you so much fro linking up with us again and hope you’re having a great weekend xx #weekendministyle

Aw thank you! I’m the same with Mothercare, we don’t have one near us so never think of it. We’ve got a BHS on our high street so we often pop in for a look. I must admit, their girls clothes selection is much better than the boys section, do have a look! Yes, I think my boy has a really skinny waist haha! xx
