I have two outifts to share with you this week, one for girls and one for boys, both from Next as my parents couldn’t resist buying clothes for their grandkids (and I am not complaining ;-))
First up is Lily wearing a beautiful cotton dress with a red poppy print and a peter pan collar. It is such a cheerful dress, and it comes with matching pants to go over the nappy.
Isn’t it beautiful??! I love the colours, the way the sleeves puff out, the collar and the way the fabric is gathered at the front with the blue wavey ribbon – reminds me of my childhood, all those smocked dresses.
She is wearing 9-12 months, which is a perfect fit for Lily, not tight at all and very comfortable. The fabric is light, great for summer hot days. The fastening is at the back with 3 buttons.
She is wearing Sevva Emma patent shoes, and my parents also bought a matching red cardi from Next, which you can see below.
The cardi has one button at the collar, and I put the collar of the dress over the cardi. It’s such a lovely colour, I think it really suits Lily.
Here’s where you can get the outfit from if you are interested:
Smocked Dress and Knickers 0-2 years – Next – £17.50 – £18.50
Red Cardigan 0-2 years – Next – £9 – £10
Sevva Emma Patent Cream Shoes – Amazon – £16.99
As for Tyler, my parents got him a lovely denim shirt along with some joggers and super skinny jeans. But I changed the skinny jeans for a hoodie, as Tyler’s legs are so skinny anyway, he looks a bit silly in super skinny jeans, like he has stick legs. So he’s wearing one of his other jeans in these photos, which he gave me loads of poses for – “Howabout like this mummy??” before giggling like crazy!
I LOVE the shirt. I don’t normally put him in shirts, but he does look rather smart in it! It’s really soft, and a loose fit so not too tight. This is age 5-6. The front has popper buttons which are a bit stiff to do up. I like the colour too, the light denim shade. It doesn’t clash with his blue jeans.
The jeans are from Next, he got them around Christmas time and they are soooo comfy, it’s a really stretchy fabric as it has elastane in it.
The shoes are new ones I got from Tesco for £7, a quick purchase as his feet suddenly grew to size 9. He loves them, as it’s his usual velcro strap style and his favourite colour blue.
Here’s where you can buy Tyler’s outfit:
Denim Short Sleeve Shirt, 3-16 years – Next – £11 – £16
Skinny Jeans, 3-16 years – Next- £10 – £15
F+F Denim Riptape Trainers – Tesco – £5 (was £7)
What do you think of Tyler’s poses – which is the best??
Sabrina x
