Summer Photos of Slough, Berkshire | July 2020

As we have come to the end of July, it’s time for a #sloughitsnotsobad round-up. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, basically I have this hashtag on Instagram for people to share their pretty photos of Slough and the surrounding area. It is great to see the seasons change each month through your photos. July was a mixed bag of weather – from super hot to rain rain rain and then a random heatwave at the end! Here are my favourite photos from the month.

The shapes and the colours in the below photo, taken at Upton Court Park, are just wow.

Okay, can you look at this photo and not go “aw”?

Love the reflection of the sky in this photo from Black Park.

Our very own proper Instagrammer in Slough – love the pose!

You know how much I love poppies. This was taken at Eton Wick which is not too far from Slough.

Salt Hill Park still has colourful flowers in bloom.

A moody photo of the old Horlicks factory, which is basically a building site at the mo.

Burnham Beeches, lovely place for a woodland walk, and very green at this time of year.

I have never been to the Jubilee River – it looks amazing!

Slough got a brand new playground this month. After seeing this photo, I went to check it out and wrote all about it here.

This girl always takes the best sunset photos.

And I also love how she’s suggested to use your imagination to see Slough’s Stonehenge in this photo.

A view of our grand Langley Hotel here.

Is it sad that I find this exciting?! The trendy hot pink Moxy sign is up!

Finally I am going to end with 2 photos of Slough taken at pretty much the same time – of the beautiful pink sunset sky from the last day of July 2020.

Thank you all for joining in. Check out the rest of the photos on #sloughitsnotsobad.

I’m looking forward to seeing what photos you take in August, with it being the summer holidays. The last month before things are back to normal in September and schools reopening (hopefully!). Do tag your photos with #sloughitsnotsobad and you may just feature in the August roundup.
