It has been a tough year for parents of preschoolers, with activities having been totally shut down during lockdown. But with things easing slowly, there are some activities now available in Berkshire, which is great for introducing your lockdown babies and toddlers to the world of ‘socialising’. This will be a new concept to babies born in lockdown! As a volunteer at a local playgroup in Slough, we started an outdoor group, and I have witnessed the happiness from toddlers seeing other children. The sparkle in babies’ eyes, and parents being able to meet other parents and chat. It is really worth joining one of the activities in this blog post.
Trinity Tots Outdoor Meetups – Slough (term-time)

Wednesdays
This playgroup used to meet up at Trinity Church, but for now we have introduced outdoor meetups once a week in term-time. We walk around the park, feed the ducks (duck food supplied) and have a sing-song at the end, with bubbles blown for the toddlers to enjoy. Currently it is at Herschel Park in Slough.

Lets Get Messy with Kirsty – Langley

All children and families are welcome from the age of 6 months to 5 years. Tuff tray set ups for your little ones to explore each week – wet and dry trays such as coloured rice, coloured spaghetti, lentils, chickpeas, mushy peas, vegetables, cereal play, playdoh and more.
