TOOTBus Windsor Tour | Review

Want to make the weekend more exciting for your kids? Go on a TOOTBus Windsor tour! That’s exactly what we did last weekend and my kids LOVED it.

Going around our familiar sites on the top deck with the open top, it was such a nice experience – even in the rain 😂

Yeah, I came prepared with our raincoats, and the splashes from the trees got us all giggling.

There is a covered bit at the front, so don’t worry, you can stay dry if it rains.

I’m sure if you’re local, your children will have seen this bright Union Jack patterned bus driving around Windsor, Datchet and Eton. My kids always ask to go on it, and I am so glad we did. You don’t have to be a tourist to enjoy this bus ride!

The TOOTBus is a “hop on hop off” service, so your ticket is valid for the whole day. As Tyler is a bus enthusiast, we did the whole tour in one go and it lasts one hour, with a tour guide telling you loads of interesting facts throughout.

But if you planned it, you can make a whole day of it and explore Datchet, Eton, Windsor Farm Shop and Old Windsor, before catching the bus to the next stop. Here is the bus timetable and stops – the minutes are past the hour, hourly between 10am – 4pm in Sept/Oct.

We’re totally going make this an annual treat. Do you want to go on the TOOTBus?
