Tyler’s Outfit of the Week #3

This week I did a little shop at Debenhams as I had some vouchers leftover from Christmas to spend. I having been wanting to get Tyler yellow wellies for a while now, so we can go for walks in Black Park and not worry about the mud! I found the cutest pair that are also Children in Need ones, plus this outfit below:

I’ve noticed Tyler shows a preference to choosing plain tops when I ask him what he wants to wear. So I steered clear of any tops with a print on, and went for this grey and white striped sweatshirt. The fabric is very thin and light, so it’s almost like a long-sleeved t-shirt. It will be perfect for spring when it gets a bit warmer. And I did it, I actually bought age 4-5! It’s a little baggy on him, but should last the year.

Tyler loves the wellies, he asked me if we could go jump in muddy puddles! The bedroom would have to do for now though. The colour really brightens up the outfit and its a really good fit, not hard to get on his feet at all.

The Pudsey face looks so sweet, plus the good thing is that all profits from sales of these wellies go to the Children in Need charity.

I chose these blue denim jogging bottoms, because as soon I as picked it off the rack, I was amazed at how soft the fabric was. They look like jeans but are as comfy as normal jogging bottoms! It was from the older boy section, so the smallest size was age 4-5.

They looked a bit long but I got them anyway, and it turns out that they fit Tyler fine! As the bottom of the legs are elasticated, it doesn’t matter it they are a bit long. And it makes them really easy to tuck into the wellies. I’m really happy with these bottoms!

  2. That’s a great outfit and those wellies are ace! Love the last photo where Tyler lost his arm up the sleeve of his jumper, reminds me of when I buy jumpers for Lewis. Kids grow that fast I always swamp them as they’ll fit perfectly in the blink of an eye! Thank you for sharing #WeekendTotStyle
